I chose to read this book about Leonardo da Vanci, because I have heard about him from various people. Even though I had heard about him, I never knew what he was famous for. Since I didn't know why he was well known, I thought this would be a good opportunity to learn why.

The person I have decided to write about is Sir Issac Newton. I pick him because I like the laws of gravity and motion. I like the joke the bigger they are the harder the fall. That's one of Issac's laws that when a bigger object falls and hits ground its impact is more spectacular than how it would be if I dropped a really light object. I also like how his law says an object that stays in motion tends to stay in motion. I just think he has helped us extremely when it come to the laws of motion.

I chose to read about James Lovell: Rescuer of Apollo 13. I chose to read it because I like to read about astronauts and things to do with space. Another reason is because Apollo 13 was a movie, and I wanted to read the book.

Hi Mrs.Mckinney i am writing about Marie curie! I choose to do my blog on this scientist mostly because of the fact that she was the first woman scientist to win a nobel prize in physics! Also because one day i choose to read a book called "how they croaked" a story on how some famous people in our world died, usually they had gruesome deaths with that. In the book i saw that she actually had a big effecton how today we think on radiation. Its still a shame ho under rated she is!

In mid October 1879, and Thomas Alva Edison had been working for five straight nights,With hardly any sleep with trying to create an electric light bulb. He tried atleast a thousand times, he finally switched the power switch and it lit up and burned brightly for several hours. As the world caught on this invention evalved into electricity in houses. THomas Edison...." The most certain way to suceed is always to try one more time."

The giant of science I chose to read about was Marie Curie. I chose her because she had a great impact on the radioactive world. She discovered, with the help of her husband, two important radioactive elements that affect life around us today. Without her discoveries, I think we'd be in trouble, especially in the medical field.

My giant of science is Mark Zuckerberg. I chose him because i get on facebook and thought that it would be interesting if i learned a little bit about how it started. Although, i was not only interested in how he created it, i also wanted to know what it took him to get there. He is also very young for a person who would create one of the most popular websites ever!
