What were some obstacles that the scientist had to overcome? List and explain at least three from the book that you read about. These could be related to their discovery/invention or their personal lives.

Obstacles for Leonardo:
1) A peresonal struggle would be him growing up with not many friends from home town, because he had unwed parents. He was very lonely.
2) Whoa! In 1476 he and four other men were accused of having sex with a male prostitute. At this time this was a big deal, because homosexuality goes against the Bible. Very serious punishments took place if you liked/slept with the same gender. Even faitual punishments. Luckly, in the third hearing Leonardo was found not guilty. He stayed in a cell for three months for no reason.
3) Leonardo struggled with money. He didnt know how to run a business. He would turn down jobs just because he didnt like someone.

One of the obstacles Lovell had to overcome was the long waiting and hours of watching other men go into space. Before he did, 4 other people went into space, and left him waiting.

Thomas EDison had to overcome some hard obsticles, with his wife Mary Edison and her father dying from a sicknesses

Obstacles for Curie:
1) She had gotten married, and had a child, which needed money.
2) When Marie was studying, almost all her items were covered in radium. Including her cook book.
3) She needed a lot of money to study in her lab, mostly for the building.
4) The overall obstacle for Marie was costs.

One reason that mark has the primary colors of facebook blue is that he red-green colorblind and he can see blue better than other colors. Another opstacle was that three of the people he had helped on a website sue him and they have to go to court. Which then gets in the way of him and facebook. Then, he has to think about all the deals that other websites want to make with him which ends up becoming another opsticale.

one of steve jobs' biggest obstacles was dealing with his pancreatic cancer. it says he refused to undergo surgery for nine monts, a decision he later regretted.
