One surprising thing I learned about James Lovell was he got picked for NASA's first 7 astronauts, out of 500 pilots. Secondly, he saved Apollo 13 from a life or death scenario, with little time. Lastly, he was the first man to travel out of earths orbit, and to the far side of the moon.

Some shocking things I learned about Marie Curie was that she had her own statue built in Warsaw. The other thing I thought was interesting was she won 2 Noble Prizes, and was the first person to ever share a Noble Prize with someone. She was also the first to have 2.

One thing i found shocking was that he didnt let his color blindness stop him. If i had that i would stop trying to do alot. Another thing that i found shocking is how many websites he has made in the past. He started making websites when he was in highschool. I also found that he got in trouble for making a popularity website very shocking. To me i wouldnt really care about any type of website like that so why does it even matter?!
