Step 1
1.  What form of cell division occurs with asexual reproduction?  Mitosis or Meiosis
2.  What are the stages of mitosis in order?  Which phase does the cell spend most of its time? 
3.  In this form of cell division, one cell divides to create two __________ ____________ cells.
 
Step 2:
At this point if you have not already started on the mitosis videos and packet, you need to do so and finish it.

Step 3:
Grab a Mitosis Coloring Sheet and follow the directions for color coding, cuting and pasting and explaining the phases.  ______________________________________________________________________________
Learning Targets
1.  Develop and use a model to describe why asexual reproduction results in offspring with identical genetic infromation and sexual reproduction results in offspring with genetic variation.
